If you get an email that looks suspicious, slowly hover your mouse over the link. The true destination of the link will pop up. It’s an easy way to tell whether the link is bad.
In the 1st screenshot below the red arrows show how the hackers used very convincing elements in the email to trick me into clicking the link.
In the 2nd screenshot below the red arrow shows how to hover over the URL to see the final destination. This was a malicious email that was trying to trick me.
